CrossFit Level 1 Certification
Mom of two boys, wife, and a Coach. I know how busy life can get with kids, school, sports, and a household. CrossFit has been my personal outlet that has helped me maintain a healthy mind and body to support my busy schedule. Growing up, I would consider myself very active. Always outdoors and swimming was something I stuck with the longest as a child. As an adult, I became a member at a local gym, got a couple of bikes, and started road biking and mountain biking, and running 5k's, 10k's, and half marathons. There was a time when I actually enjoyed running! I started my CrossFit journey in 2015. Extremely hesitant to attend my first class, but quickly found myself addicted and attending 5x per week! I felt results much faster working out 1 hour a day compared to the 2-3 hours I would spend doing other physical activities I was into at the time. It also felt amazing to have the support and community CrossFit is known for. Getting more socially positive interactions while getting stronger was new and refreshing. I never looked back, and CrossFit was where I truly found myself and changed my perspective on what being truly healthy is.
It was right after I had my second child, and I was rediscovering myself. I felt much different this time around. Much weaker, and my stamina took a hit. I knew it would come back at some point, but I needed to shift my focus and find another alley to motivate myself. What I experienced through CrossFit was a viable outlet I've always wanted to share with others. Just thinking about it made me excited! That's when I decided to go for my L1.
My passion and motivation are not only to be a trainer, but also a mentor and a motivator. To empower people to achieve their fitness goals, whether they're beginners or seasoned, through fun and challenging workouts and in a positive and safe environment.
